随着能源需求的不断增长和化石燃料的限制, renewable energy requires more efficient and secure storage systems. 水性超级电容器被认为是最有前景和环保的选择之一,与传统电池相比,其充放电能力可在几秒钟内实现。

开发的技术特点

混合纳米材料:研究小组开发了一系列纳米材料,这些材料将仅4纳米的铋硫化物纳米颗粒纳入商业碳材料中。这些新型纳米材料可以用作超级电容器的电极,其储能能力显著高于传统的碳材料。

协同效应:研究表明,水性碘化钠电解质与纳米颗粒产生协同效应,能够使储存的能量是传统水性系统的两倍或三倍。

为了克服多次充放电周期后的主要稳定性问题,研究人员实施了两种互补策略:将碘加入碳材料以及在电解质中添加中性缓冲液。这些方法使得超级电容器在超过1000个使用周期后,依然保持其性能完好。

该研究由玛丽亚·贝尔内切亚·纳瓦罗(ARAID研究员)、玛丽亚·皮拉尔·洛贝拉·冈萨雷斯(博士聘用教授)和塞尔吉奥·艾纳以及阿卜登比·切尔卡维等研究人员领导,均来自INMA的纳米孔膜和颗粒研究小组(NFP),并与波兰的波兹南科技大学合作。

该项目获得了多个来源的资助,包括M-ERA.NET网络、MICIU/AEI、FEDER/UE资金,以及阿拉贡政府推动的NextGenerationEU/PRTR项目。
